MILFORD TEEN ARRESTED ON FIREARMS CHARGES
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TUESDAY APRIL 1ST 2025
MILFORD- On Monday March 31st, 2025, at approximately 3:25PM the Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a call reporting 3 males and 1 female involving a firearm. As Milford Police Patrol Officers arrived on scene the suspects fled into a nearby residence. During their investigation, Milford Police Detectives and Patrol Officers discovered a Walther PPQ 9MM firearm and a high capacity 9MM magazine, containing 9MM full metal jacket ammo.
As a result, Kevin Batista, 18, of Milford, MA was placed under arrest and transported to Milford Police Department Headquarters for booking.
“I’m proud of the men and women of the Milford Police Department for taking another illegal firearm off the streets of our community. Illegally possessed weapons like this are capable of carelessly causing serious injury or death in an instant.” -Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino.
Batista was held on $7500 bail and transported for holding at Worcester House of Corrections pending arraignment. He is charged with the following.
